Human Resources Manager
Job Description
Libra Staffing Inc. is seeking a compliance‑driven HR professional to oversee onboarding, employee relations, policy enforcement, and HR operations across California and multi‑state staffing operations. This onsite role in Norwalk, California offers a salary range of USD 70,000 to 85,000 per year and the potential to move into HR Administrator or HR Manager responsibilities depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with new hire onboarding, departures, and maintenance of personnel records
- Support employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and document outcomes
- Coordinate corrective actions, issue written warnings, and prepare termination documentation
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee and company matters
- Provide guidance to employees on policies, benefits, payroll, and leave processes
- Maintain compliance with California labor laws and internal policies
- Oversee I‑9 and E‑Verify processes and onboarding documentation completion
- Assist with leave administration including CFRA, FMLA, ADA interactive process coordination, and paid sick leave compliance
- Maintain OSHA records and workplace safety documentation
- Support workers’ compensation claim administration and communications
- Coordinate with recruiters, operations, payroll, and client management teams
- Help maintain accurate records in HRIS/ATS systems
- Support multi‑location and multi‑state staffing operations
- Assist with audits, reporting, and internal compliance initiatives
- Maintain orderly digital HR records
- Track deadlines, expirations, trainings, and compliance requirements
- Draft professional HR correspondence and employee communications
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and greater operational efficiency
