Job Description

Libra Staffing Inc. is seeking a compliance‑driven HR professional to oversee onboarding, employee relations, policy enforcement, and HR operations across California and multi‑state staffing operations. This onsite role in Norwalk, California offers a salary range of USD 70,000 to 85,000 per year and the potential to move into HR Administrator or HR Manager responsibilities depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with new hire onboarding, departures, and maintenance of personnel records
  • Support employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and document outcomes
  • Coordinate corrective actions, issue written warnings, and prepare termination documentation
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee and company matters
  • Provide guidance to employees on policies, benefits, payroll, and leave processes
  • Maintain compliance with California labor laws and internal policies
  • Oversee I‑9 and E‑Verify processes and onboarding documentation completion
  • Assist with leave administration including CFRA, FMLA, ADA interactive process coordination, and paid sick leave compliance
  • Maintain OSHA records and workplace safety documentation
  • Support workers’ compensation claim administration and communications
  • Coordinate with recruiters, operations, payroll, and client management teams
  • Help maintain accurate records in HRIS/ATS systems
  • Support multi‑location and multi‑state staffing operations
  • Assist with audits, reporting, and internal compliance initiatives
  • Maintain orderly digital HR records
  • Track deadlines, expirations, trainings, and compliance requirements
  • Draft professional HR correspondence and employee communications
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and greater operational efficiency

Education

Associate (Preferred)

Experience

Minimum 2 years of HR experience; 3 years in HR is preferred.
