Job Description
Responsibilities
- Inform applicants about compensation, benefits, and terms of employment.
- Utilize human resources management software to create and maintain records for hiring, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Explain HR policies, standards, and procedures to employees to ensure understanding and compliance.
- Conduct interviews and review applications to align candidates with job requirements.
- Process applications, employment records, enrollment, pay-change information, and other confidential forms.
- Gather information and prepare reports ranging from standard to complex.
- Maintain and distribute current employee information, policy and procedure manuals, and other communications.
- Handle employee communications, pre-employment screening, and routine HR inquiries.
- Identify potential issues and grievances.
- Maintain desktop computer systems to support HR administration processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree, with at least two years of college coursework in human resources management or a related field.
- Two years of Human Resources experience; hospital or government experience required; professional HR certification preferred.
Job Summary
The HR Manager is responsible for performing HR duties in a professional manner and managing day-to-day operations of the personnel department. The role supports benefits, recruitment, onboarding, education and payroll functions, and provides assistance to the COO regarding labor and employee relations. This position contributes to training, performance management, onboarding, and policy administration across HR operations.
