Job Description
Onsite HR Manager role with Southland Companies in Wrightsville Beach, NC, focusing on compliant, culture-aligned policies and programs while guiding core human resources functions.
Responsibilities
- Ensure policies, procedures, and programs meet labor laws and reflect the company culture.
- Periodically review and refine recruitment processes and onboarding programs to accelerate best practices and quickly integrate new hires into our culture.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to update job descriptions.
- Update the performance review program as needed after consulting with managers and leadership.
- Oversee all benefits and insurance programs.
- Partner with leadership to maintain a culture that emphasizes high performance, learning, and growth opportunities.
- Implement appropriate employee relations initiatives and disciplinary actions as required.
Requirements
- 4+ years of HR experience at the administrative or management level.
- Effective communicator.
- Skilled at building relationships with employees across various levels within different company units.
- Ability to multi-task and switch gears quickly.
