Job Description

Spear D Construction is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager to serve as the primary HR leader across the organization in Albuquerque. This onsite role partners with Operations, Safety, Payroll, and Executive Leadership to support employees and managers and to elevate people operations throughout the company.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee employee relations, coaching, investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective action processes.
  • Collaborate with managers to cultivate leadership development and strengthen team performance.
  • Manage onboarding, orientation, benefits administration, and end-to-end employee lifecycle activities.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Support organizational development, workforce planning, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Promote continuous improvement in HR processes, documentation, and the overall employee experience.
  • Analyze workforce metrics including turnover, retention, and employee trends.
  • Support performance management and employee development programs.
  • Foster a culture rooted in accountability, professionalism, respect, and teamwork.
  • Build trusted relationships across both office and field operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Five or more years of progressive HR experience.
  • Strong background in employee relations and leadership coaching.
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance.
  • Experience handling confidential employee matters.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems (Viewpoint preferred) and Microsoft Office.

$80,000–$95,000 Annually
