Job Description

This onsite leadership role in Seattle oversees end-to-end MBA recruiting operations, partnering with senior leaders to attract top MBA talent while elevating candidate experience and Amazon’s employer brand on premier MBA campuses. The position offers a yearly salary range of USD 151,600 to 205,100.

Responsibilities

  • Guide and develop a team of MBA recruiters, directing full-lifecycle recruitment from strategy to offer close in collaboration with business leaders to secure exceptional MBA talent.
  • Design and scale programs that enhance the candidate experience and strengthen Amazon’s brand on top MBA programs.
  • Own recruiting operations, establishing metrics, governance processes, and continuous improvement for a highly visible talent pipeline.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring teams, program managers, and senior leadership with market intelligence and MBA hiring strategy insights.
  • Lead end-to-end MBA recruiting strategy and execution across target programs, from workforce planning and pipeline development to offer close and onboarding handoff.
  • Manage campus and candidate relationships as Amazon’s primary recruiting presence at designated MBA programs; cultivate ongoing partnerships with career services, student clubs, and faculty.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders including hiring managers, business unit leaders, and HR business partners to understand talent needs and calibrate role requirements.
  • Drive operational mechanisms by owning recruiting metrics such as pipeline health, conversion rates, time-to-fill, and candidate experience scores; conduct weekly business reviews and deliver data-driven insights to leadership.
  • Develop and execute events strategy, leading on-campus engagements, information sessions, informal chats, and closed-list events to strengthen Amazon’s employer brand with MBA talent.
  • Improve recruiting processes by identifying bottlenecks, designing scalable workflows, and implementing tools that enhance efficiency and candidate quality.
  • Uphold high hiring standards by applying the interview philosophy, coaching teams on behavioral interviewing, calibrating evaluation loops, and closing high-priority candidates.
  • Provide executive-level reporting by synthesizing recruiting performance, market trends, and competitive intelligence into narratives for senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Six or more years of experience in recruiting or human resources.
  • Experience operating within recruiting or HR functions.
  • Proven ability to build, coach, and manage a recruiting team.
  • Experience directing large, dispersed recruiting or sourcing teams.
  • Proficiency with recruiting tools and systems, including resume databases, internet sourcing tools, and spreadsheets.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience creating, measuring, and scaling workflows among candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team.
  • Experience managing senior staff or staffing managers.
  • Experience with workforce planning.
  • Experience partnering with hiring teams to develop effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches while managing customer and partner expectations.
