Job Description
Quanta Government Solutions is hiring a part-time People Operations Admin to support the People & Workforce Operations team. This hybrid Houston role helps keep employee experiences running smoothly through HR documentation support, onboarding coordination, and hands-on help with communications, events, and welcome materials. What you’ll do
As a People Operations Admin, you will provide clerical and HR paperwork support while assisting with internal communications and new hire experience details.
- Prepare, organize, and file HR paperwork and documentation in both physical and digital formats.
- Support data entry and recordkeeping tasks for the People team as needed.
- Handle general administrative work such as scanning, copying, and organizing files.
- Assist with reviewing, formatting, and revising HR policies and procedures as directed by the Senior Manager.
- Create and edit graphics, flyers, and other visual materials in Canva for People team communications and events.
- Help draft, format, and distribute internal communications such as newsletters and announcements.
- Support the design and printing of materials for recognition programs, events, and new hire welcome kits.
- Proofread and format People team communications to maintain consistency and brand alignment.
- Assist with new hire orientation, including preparing welcome materials and coordinating logistics.
- Support orientation sessions to help ensure a smooth first-day experience.
- Provide general event support, including setup, materials preparation, and day-of coordination for company events and People team initiatives.
- Package and ship swag, welcome kits, and related materials to employees and offices as needed.
- Deliver general administrative assistance to the People team as priorities shift, including ad hoc People team projects and initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework is a plus.
- 0 years of experience required for this entry-level HR administrative assistant role.
- Comfort with basic clerical work such as filing, data entry, and mailing or shipping.
- Ability to lift and ship packages up to 30 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Microsoft Office proficiency including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Interest in HR or People Operations is helpful but not required.
