Job Description

Join Chevy Chase Club as the primary coordinator for day-to-day People Operations, supporting the team member experience for 500+ employees onsite in Chevy Chase, MD.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee and management questions related to People Operations
  • Deliver high-touch customer service for team members and applicants
  • Maintain a welcoming, professional environment within People Operations
  • Handle employee files and records with strict confidentiality, discretion, and compliance
  • Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes
  • Support employees with benefits enrollment, payroll questions, employment verifications, and general HR inquiries
  • Manage departmental communications, correspondence, calendars, and office organization
  • Coordinate recruiting activities, including job postings, career fairs, interview scheduling, and candidate communications
  • Assist department leaders with staffing needs and onboarding initiatives
  • Support seasonal hiring and large-scale recruiting initiatives
  • Maintain accurate, timely employee data in Human Capital Management (HCM) systems
  • Assist payroll administration by processing changes, tracking documentation, and responding to payroll-related inquiries
  • Generate reports and support workforce analytics and recordkeeping
  • Support employee relations initiatives and help address concerns professionally and confidentially
  • Coordinate employee wellness programs, recognition efforts, and engagement activities
  • Support a positive workplace culture aligned with Club values and service standards
  • Assist with compliance across federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain required labor law postings, documentation, and audit records
  • Support administration of policies, procedures, compensation programs, and benefits processes
  • Recommend operational process improvements to enhance efficiency

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • Minimum 3 years of administrative or human resources experience
  • Prefer experience in hospitality, private clubs, hotels, resorts, or other service-focused environments
  • Experience supporting a diverse workforce in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Human Capital Management (HCM) systems
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
  • Human Resources certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar) is a plus
  • High-volume, seasonal staffing experience highly desirable

Location: Chevy Chase, MD (onsite) | Salary: USD 69,000 - 90,000 per year
