Job Description

People Operations Specialist role focused on Talent Acquisition and Onboarding with a hybrid schedule in Cincinnati, OH.

Responsibilities

  • Own employee data changes and high-volume transactional administration across the employee lifecycle.
  • Process operational activities tied to onboarding and offboarding, including leave management, compliance, records management, and retention.
  • Support employees and managers with life cycle event management through the system self-service function (for example: transfers, promotions, employment separations).
  • Handle employee inquiries and issue resolution, including researching, escalating, and resolving Workday operational issues.
  • Deliver standard reports, manage ad-hoc reporting, and provide employee analytics upon request.
  • Maintain data quality and adhere to global data standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries accurately, professionally, and in a timely manner.
  • Meet service level agreements (SLAs) and people systems delivery (PSD) metrics.
  • Build and maintain working networks across functions, locations, and stakeholders.
  • Apply knowledge related to employee orientation.
  • Stay flexible and pivot with changing priorities.

Requirements

  • Strong ability to deliver an excellent customer experience, resolve issues, and identify continuous improvement opportunities with a “customer at the heart of everything” mindset.
  • Adaptable and proactive approach, with a willingness to continuously learn and pick up tasks.
  • Experience using HR systems, preferably Workday.
  • Knowledge of HR concepts, policies, and procedures.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work in an organized way and follow up consistently on tasks.
  • Comfort working independently and as part of a team, with strong time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to partner effectively with all levels of employees and interface with functional areas and facilities.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, management, and clients.
  • Experience in customer support, including handling customer interactions and addressing escalations.
