Recruiter

This onsite role is based in Indianapolis, IN, and focuses on attracting and selecting qualified candidates across transportation, logistics, maintenance, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Proactively source candidates and screen applications to build a strong pipeline
• Conduct initial phone interviews to assess fit and qualifications
• Coordinate with hiring managers to align on role requirements and timelines
• Arrange and schedule interviews, ensuring a smooth candidate experience
• Maintain accurate and complete applicant records
• Monitor recruiting metrics and generate actionable reports
• Support onboarding activities for new hires
• Help drive recruiting initiatives across the organization to improve processes

Requirements

• 2+ years of recruiting, staffing, HR, or talent acquisition experience preferred
• Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is required
• Experience with Tenstreet ATS strongly preferred
• Experience recruiting for transportation, logistics, or CDL positions preferred
• Strong communication, interviewing, and relationship-building skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple openings simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other recruiting technologies
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with hiring managers across multiple locations
