Recruiter

Responsibilities

• Maintain applicant tracking system data and track key metrics
• Screen incoming resumes and application forms to identify qualified candidates
• Advertise openings on the company careers page, social media channels, job boards, and internally
• Utilize applicant tracking systems and resume databases effectively
• Craft sourcing communications to attract passive candidates
• Interview candidates and provide notes on qualified applicants to hiring managers
• Monitor HR metrics including time-to-fill, time-to-hire, and source of hire
• Participate in job fairs and host in-house recruitment events
• Build relationships with external resources such as colleges and community organizations
• Design and update job descriptions as requested or needed
• Collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs
• Lead or participate in new hire orientation sessions
• Adhere to recruitment process maps and overall best practices
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
• Extend job offers and communicate updates to hiring managers
• Coordinate with all branches and regions on practices, hiring needs, and changes

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process
• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices relevant to hiring and recruitment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal abilities
• Ability to identify, create, and implement sourcing strategies
