Recruiter

Carolina Precision Foods is hiring a Recruiter in Florence, SC (in-person) to help build talent across departments and keep the hiring experience moving smoothly from first outreach through onboarding. This role is designed for a proactive, people-focused recruiter who can connect with candidates in English and Spanish and effectively work within Hispanic communities in SC and NC. You will partner closely with hiring managers, support compliance-focused hiring practices, and use HRIS and recruiting tools to strengthen employer branding.

Responsibilities

• Build recruiting strategies aligned to different roles across the organization.
• Interview and assess candidates to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit while maintaining a positive, consistent candidate experience.
• Use cold calling and ongoing relationship management to generate leads and grow talent pools for current and future openings.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, define job requirements, and develop job descriptions.
• Support employment contracts, employee orientation, and employee evaluation processes to help meet employment and labor law standards.
• Promote openings and strengthen employer branding using social media management tools and HRIS platforms, including SAP PeopleSoft and UltiPro.

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to work within Hispanic communities in SC and NC.
• 2 years of recruiting experience in human resources or a related field with focus on talent management, sourcing, and candidate engagement.
• Strong working knowledge of HRIS systems, including Centrally HR (Powered by CBiz), with experience managing employee data and recruitment workflows.
• Familiarity with employment and labor law regulations to support compliant hiring practices.
• Excellent communication skills for interviewing, confidence in candidate conversations, and rapport-building with diverse candidates.
• Ability to travel to recruiting events.
• Sales technique experience, including cold calling for lead generation, is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
