Recruiting Business Partner, Field Ops TA
Job Description
Amazon’s onsite Recruiting Business Partner role supports Field Ops Talent Acquisition by partnering with Sourcers, hiring teams, and cross-functional partners to build pipeline and close searches on deadline.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring teams to design sourcing, assessment, and closing strategies, including managing customer and partner expectations through an ROI-focused approach
- Recruit passive candidates using a people-profiling mindset, assessing fit and chemistry and understanding candidate motivation rather than “selling” a role
- Conduct, negotiate, and close complex offers in competitive markets
- Propose recruitment ideas and strategies that support long-range company growth; implement new processes and refine standard recruiting processes in line with Amazon’s mission to deliver high-quality customer results
- Create written recruitment plans with deliverables, timelines, and a formal tracking process
- Interview candidates according to the position specification; screen, interview, and prepare a candidate slate within consistent timelines
- Support special projects and recruiting initiatives, including assessment of interviewing best practices, leveraging internal talent sources, and identifying top performers for senior-level roles
- Partner with cross-functional teams to build a pipeline of internal and external candidates
- Improve candidate experience by influencing client teams to follow best practices, including effective and compliant job descriptions, messaging, and clear value propositions
- Support reliable candidate experience through close coordination with client teams
Requirements
- 1+ years of corporate or search firm progressive recruiting or research experience
- Bachelor’s degree, or 2+ years of full-time Amazon experience
- Experience using a contact management system and/or applicant tracking system for sourcing, tracking, and managing candidates
