Recruiting Coordinator
Job Description
Select HIRE Services is seeking a dynamic, highly organized Recruiting Coordinator to support end-to-end hiring in a fast-moving environment. This onsite role in Melrose Park, IL coordinates candidates and hiring managers from sourcing through onboarding, helping drive recruiting across departments and strengthen talent pipelines.
The position focuses on full-cycle recruitment execution, candidate and stakeholder coordination, and ongoing recruiting outreach to build diverse talent pools. The Recruiting Coordinator will also support HR sourcing initiatives tied to high-volume campaigns and succession planning, while working with HR and talent management systems to keep hiring processes organized and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage full cycle recruiting, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Use talent management software and applicant tracking systems (ATS) to support day-to-day recruiting workflows.
- Conduct research and use social media marketing strategies to generate candidate leads and support employer branding efforts.
- Participate in external recruiting activities such as campus recruitment, job fairs, and cold calling to attract diverse candidates.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, negotiate offers, and support employment and labor law compliance throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain relationships with candidates, hiring teams, and external agencies to support a positive candidate experience and successful placements.
- Support HR sourcing by maintaining talent pipelines for high volume recruitment campaigns and succession planning.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in recruiting or human resources, with familiarity in full cycle recruiting, technical recruiting, or executive recruiting.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills for working with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of HR legal compliance and employment law as it applies to talent management, including employment and labor law.
- Preferred experience with talent management platforms such as UltiPro, Kenexa BrassRing, or similar HR systems.
- Ability to manage high volume recruitment projects while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Advantageous experience with social media marketing (recruitment), employee orientation, employee evaluation, employee relations, and training and development.
- Ability to research market trends and generate leads through cold calling or other lead generation methods.
