Job Description

The Recruiting Coordinator supports the end-to-end recruiting workflow by reviewing applications, conducting initial candidate screenings, coordinating interview scheduling, and maintaining recruiting documentation and follow-up. This hybrid role in Cleveland, OH helps ensure a consistent and responsive experience for candidates and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review intern and staff-level applications in the ATS, conduct initial screening interviews, and provide recommendations to the Talent Acquisition Manager and hiring managers on next steps.
  • Coordinate and conduct initial screening interviews for intern and staff-level candidates from sources such as referrals, recruiting events, and other candidate pipelines, as needed.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews across phone, virtual, and onsite formats for the Talent Acquisition team, hiring managers, and candidates at multiple levels.
  • Prepare and send interview invitations, collect and organize interview documents, coordinate onsite interview logistics, collect interview feedback, and help keep the interview process timely and organized.
  • Maintain and update recruiting materials and systems, including candidate trackers, ATS records, candidate folders, interview notes, feedback documentation, and follow-up items.
  • Support organized recruiting by providing timely follow-up with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist the Talent Acquisition Manager with recruiting projects, candidate pipeline updates, process improvements, and other recruitment-related tasks as assigned.
  • Contribute to college recruiting coordination as needed, including event setup, campus recruiting logistics, promotional inventory tracking, confirmation of office needs, and timely shipment of materials.
  • Support onboarding coordination as needed, including desk setup, welcome box orders, nameplates, business cards, and other new hire preparation items.
  • Assist with ad hoc HR projects based on team bandwidth, including coordinating performance review meetings, collecting and documenting related files, supporting cleanup activities, and other HR administrative needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (required).
  • 0 to 2 years of related experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while accurately tracking interview schedules, follow-up items, and candidate details.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with candidates, hiring managers, and internal team members.
  • Responsive, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to follow-up to keep recruiting processes moving.
  • Ability to evaluate candidate fit for intern and staff-level roles and communicate recommendations clearly.
  • Comfort maintaining confidential information and handling candidate and employee documents with discretion.
  • Reliable team player who is eager to learn and able to support both recurring recruiting processes and ad hoc HR projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
  • Prior experience supporting recruiting, HR coordination, scheduling, candidate communication, or administrative processes (preferred).
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system or maintaining candidate records, trackers, and recruiting documentation (preferred).

  • Hourly pay: USD 27 - 32 per hour
