Recruiting Specialist

Gully Transportation in Quincy, Illinois is seeking a Recruiting Specialist to own the end-to-end recruitment of company drivers. This onsite role centers on advertising, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring while ensuring a positive candidate experience, and it collaborates closely with operations and compliance requirements. The position offers a salary range of USD 50,000 to 70,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end driver recruitment, from posting openings to interviewing candidates and finalizing hires.
• Engage with prospective drivers online and offline, screen applications, and assist hiring managers.
• Recruit qualified drivers while ensuring a positive candidate journey.
• Execute recruitment campaigns to attract company drivers through diverse advertising channels and lead generation.
• Coordinate sourcing and advertising for open driver roles.
• Develop and maintain insight into the local driver labor market.
• Support efforts to improve retention among company drivers.
• Collaborate with operations to identify staffing needs and job requirements.
• Build and sustain relationships with drivers via social media, phone outreach, and face-to-face interactions.
• Maintain and promote DOT compliance throughout the recruitment and hiring process.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, while respecting cultural differences in all recruitment stages.
• Review weekly driver performance reports.

Experience

• Recruiting experience of 1 year preferred.
