Regional Talent Acquisition Manager
Job Description
Position anchored in San Francisco, leading regional talent acquisition strategy and full lifecycle recruiting across the Northwest region for multiple offices.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with regional senior leadership and the HR team to define and drive talent acquisition strategy for the Northwest region.
- Lead end-to-end recruiting across all levels, from sourcing and research to offer and acceptance, engaging both active and passive candidates from early career to executive leadership.
- Directly conduct searches and grow a robust network of senior-level talent.
- Manage search firm contracts to align with firmwide standards and strengthen partnerships for critical hires and external branding.
- Execute local talent mapping, monitor industry talent trends, and implement targeted selection to support strategic hiring needs; explore new avenues to attract passive candidates.
- Partner with the HR Director and Marketing/PR to promote the employer value proposition in each market.
- Mentor and develop Talent Acquisition team members, guiding their skills and professional growth.
- Model a culture of continuous improvement and proactive talent sourcing within the team.
- Standardize recruitment processes across the region to boost internal efficiency while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
- Ensure compliance with recruitment policies, secure necessary approvals, and prioritize internal talent whenever feasible.
- Lead or oversee talent acquisition projects and initiatives and participate in the firm’s TA community.
- Track recruitment metrics to assess hiring outcomes and source effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the Talent Development Manager to design and deliver TA related learning activities.
- Provide competitive market insights and strategic recruitment solutions aligned with changing business trends.
- Benchmark talent acquisition practices against industry peers to uncover opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Develop a pipeline of targeted prospects by building trusted relationships with candidates as an advisor.
- Maintain clear, regular communication with Regional Managing Principals, Office Directors, and Hiring Managers.
- Oversee data management for the applicant journey, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Represent the firm as a brand ambassador in internal and external engagements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 12 years of experience in agency and/or corporate talent acquisition.
- Experience recruiting for a creative firm (architecture, interior design, branding, etc.) or within professional services and/or consulting.
- Proficiency in executive search as well as high volume staffing.
- Professional services demeanor with strong organization and time management capabilities.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced interview and candidate assessment skills.
- Experience in market mapping and targeted talent searches.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Excellent organizational abilities.
- Experience using an applicant tracking system; Workday preferred.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Knowledge of recruitment best practices, particularly around candidate experience and employer branding.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with deadlines and interruptions.
- Familiarity with EEO reporting and auditing requirements.
- Visa and PERM process knowledge is a plus.
- Proficiency with current and emerging recruiting technologies.
