Job Description
Senior Talent Acquisition Partner at Lutron Electronics Co., Inc leads full-cycle hiring for professional roles and collaborates with business leaders to establish strong recruiting practices and a superior candidate experience. This onsite role can be based in Coopersburg, PA or Austin, TX, aligning talent acquisition with the strategic priorities of the business.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert for designated business functions and share best practices informally across the recruiting team.
- Prioritize and manage a portfolio of roles with competing timelines and requirements.
- Make key decisions on candidate qualifications using structured evaluation and sound judgment.
- Monitor pipeline health and funnel metrics to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Contribute to developing and executing recruiting strategies that create robust pipelines of high-quality talent.
- Partner with leaders to understand hiring needs, role requirements, and long-term capability priorities.
- Provide market insights on talent supply, competitive trends, and compensation benchmarks to inform decisions.
- Recommend sourcing adjustments informed by data, performance metrics, and evolving business needs.
- Oversee identification and engagement of passive candidates through advanced search methods.
- Support the team in building proactive pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging talent pools.
- Drive consistent, competency-based evaluation processes to ensure candidate fit with performance and cultural standards.
- Facilitate structured debriefs and guide teams toward timely, aligned hiring decisions.
- Provide guidance to hiring managers on interviewing techniques, evaluation consistency, and selection best practices.
- Support leaders in expanding and leveraging networks to uncover exceptional talent.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and support implementing best practices.
- Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely use of the applicant tracking system, maintaining data integrity across the hiring lifecycle.
- Support vendor relationships to meet recruitment needs and maintain a steady talent pipeline.
- Build strong partnerships with hiring managers and business leaders, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the hiring process.
- Provide guidance on candidate quality, market realities, and effective hiring approaches.
- Immerse yourself in the business to understand priorities, culture, and capability needs.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment to ensure a seamless, transparent, and positive candidate experience.
- Craft compelling job descriptions that reflect role expectations, team culture, and success attributes.
- Represent Lutron at select career events as a brand ambassador to attract high-caliber talent.
- Lead offer development and delivery, ensuring competitive, equitable, and timely offers aligned with internal guidelines.
- Maintain engagement with new hires to support a smooth transition and reinforce a positive onboarding experience.
- Ensure every hire meets Lutron’s high standards of excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 7+ years of Talent Acquisition experience with a proven track record of filling specialized, technical, or hard-to-fill roles.
- Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for each degree earned or 10+ years of professional experience post academics.
- A combination of agency and in-house corporate recruiting experience is preferred.
- Willingness to travel to key sites to strengthen partnerships and deepen business understanding.
