Job Description

The Sr Human Resources Associate at ABPC Company LLC will lead the Human Resources function in an industrial enterprise, with a focus on scaling growth while strengthening people processes. This onsite role in New Baltimore, MI blends day-to-day HR leadership with safety-minded execution, talent development, and structured operations to support business expansion.

In this position, you will help build organizational talent across recruiting, onboarding, training, and benefits, while also reinforcing company policies and procedures. The work requires a steady, positive presence and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead HR efforts with strong commitment to 6S, safety, and continuous improvement, including familiarity with OSHA guidelines
  • Interface confidently with team members across all levels of the organization
  • Maintain a positive demeanor while leading the Human Resources function
  • Develop organizational talent by supporting recruiting, onboarding, and development to enable scaled growth
  • Work as a team player, collaborating with peers under pressure to deliver value to customers
  • Implement HR policies and procedures and bring structure and process to HR operations
  • Use and implement digitized systems and solutions to eliminate manual paper-based processes
  • Operate with a strong sense of urgency in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Apply customer focus by recognizing the organization’s responsibility to serve customers and support internal and external expectations
  • Coordinate communication with internal and external stakeholders as an essential part of the role
  • Provide consistent customer service and respond flexibly to changing needs
  • Contribute new ideas to improve process flow, including reducing customer lead times
  • Use root cause corrective action problem-solving to improve how the organization serves customers

  • Experience sourcing, adopting, implementing, and using systems to improve employee onboarding, administration, and payroll, specifically ADP WorkforceNow
  • Experience developing retention programs through structured onboarding, training, and leadership development
  • Excellent team-based skills and a proven history of working with others to achieve results
