Job Description

Support HR operations across the employee lifecycle by keeping HR systems accurate, coordinating onboarding and offboarding, and answering associate questions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support day-to-day HR administrative workflows using UKG, ICIMS, HR Zendesk, and other required platforms
  • Monitor the HR Zendesk ticket queue and respond to associate questions or route issues to the right team members
  • Create, edit, and maintain associate records in UKG and other HR platforms, including offer letters, background screening, manager access, logins, job changes, takeovers/dispositions, supervisor changes, and approvals for salary changes and internal movement
  • Maintain job titles, job codes, and job descriptions across the organization, including understanding roles and minimum qualifications while meeting internal and external requirements
  • Run audits of associate data to verify accuracy and integrity; build reports and presentations and share findings with internal stakeholders
  • Create forms, content, and resources for HR programs and operational processes
  • Monitor and update HR content on the company associate communication platform to ensure information remains accurate
  • Research HR program best practices and partner with other departments to support efficient, compliant, and accurate execution of core HR processes
  • Support general HR operations as backup for other HR operations associates, including recruiting support, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and HR services
  • Administer pre-employment processes and support I-9 and E-Verify in partnership with HR Managers, Talent Acquisitions, and Hiring Managers
  • Support HR legal and compliance needs, including unemployment, personnel file maintenance, labor law requirements, and E-Verify posters

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related fields (experience may substitute for education)
  • 1 year of related experience and training
  • Experience with UKG or similar HRIS platforms preferred
  • Knowledge of HR principles plus labor laws and regulations
  • Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong organizational, time management, project management, and customer service skills
  • Ability to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, take initiative, and problem-solve while maintaining attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally

Physical Requirements

  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Must be able to read documents, computer screens, and data
  • Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
  • May occasionally lift or carry items (such as files or office supplies) up to 20 pounds
  • Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment

Work Environment

  • Hybrid role requiring work in the Austin corporate office 3 days per week
  • Open office environment may include bright lights, constant noises, and distractions

Employment Contingency / Background Check and Driver’s License

  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check as local and federal state requirements
  • A valid driver’s license is preferred; candidates without a license will be provided a liability waiver
