Sr. Manager Human Resources
Job Description
Mohawk Industries is seeking a senior human resources leader to occupy an on site role in Calhoun, Georgia. The Sr. Manager, Human Resources will steer the development and execution of HR programs and policies that align with business-unit objectives, ensure regulatory compliance, coach managers, and lead a dedicated HR team in support of organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop business leaders’ capabilities in employee relations, investigations, talent acquisition, performance management, and talent development.
- Partner with business leaders to understand key objectives and organizational needs, translating them into effective HR strategies.
- Ensure policies, procedures, and programs are compliant and administered equitably across the organization.
- Collaborate with recruiting to source, interview, select, and oversee orientation for incoming talent.
- Execute core HR processes related to compensation, performance management, talent acquisition, talent development, employee engagement, and DE&I initiatives.
- Consult with leaders and employees to enhance employee engagement, relationships, performance, and overall organizational effectiveness.
- Prepare and manage the Human Resources budget, ensuring the department operates within approved lines.
- Perform other duties as needed to support the HR function and business goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
- 8-10 years of job-related experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
- 3-5 years of management experience.
- HR certification preferred.
