Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Partner focusing on Architecture and Interior Design is based onsite in New York, NY, at NBBJ. This role leads full-cycle recruitment, designs sourcing strategies, collaborates with design-focused hiring teams and HR leadership, and contributes to employer branding and process improvements. The position offers a salary range of USD 107,000 to 125,000 annually.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for Architectural, Design, and Operational roles, sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, design groups and publications, and other preferred channels.
  • Collaborate with hiring teams to define recruitment strategies and milestones to secure top talent.
  • Partner with Human Resources and Talent Acquisition leadership to shape strategies for key hiring initiatives, including strategy meetings, status updates, and guidance throughout the recruitment process.
  • Support recruiting efforts for East Coast locations including Boston, New York, and Columbus.
  • Occasionally assist with hiring in London by developing job descriptions or sourcing strategies as needed.
  • Work with the Marketing team to strengthen NBBJ's external brand, including social media campaigns, monitoring employer ratings on Glassdoor, updating the career site, and industry engagement opportunities.
  • Schedule regular candidate tracking and strategy discussions with hiring teams through weekly or bi-monthly meetings.
  • Improve recruitment processes by implementing best-practice efficiencies for clarity and usability for both HR staff and Hiring Teams.
  • Coordinate with the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager to deliver monthly metrics to Firm Leadership, identify trends, and recommend solutions to enhance performance, retention, and candidate experience.
  • Assist studios with compensation conversations, aligning salary strategy with the Benefits and Compensation Manager.
  • Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested.

  • Capacity to deliver results with minimal supervision in a dynamic and often ambiguous environment.
  • Strong prioritization and time-management skills to adapt to critical issues or projects.
  • Independent operator with sound judgment to make decisions.
  • Curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning and growth in the role.
  • 10+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, with the A/E/C industry highly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of full life cycle recruiting experience.
  • Experience sourcing candidates outside of the local location.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite; experience with Jobvite and Deltek Vision is highly desirable.
