Job Description

Sun Technologies is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter to operate with an Associate Talent Acquisition Business Partner mindset, focused on University Relations and Recruiting for the Aeronautics sector. This onsite role in Oklahoma City centers on building university partnerships, delivering campus recruiting strategies, and cultivating an early-career talent pipeline to support engineering disciplines and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and nurture strategic relationships with target universities and student organizations aligned to Sun Technologies' business needs.
  • Develop and sustain long-term university partnerships across faculty, career services, and student groups.
  • Create and implement campus recruiting programs to build a sustainable early-career pipeline in engineering and emerging technologies.
  • Maintain ongoing candidate engagement across academic cycles.
  • Screen, evaluate, and present qualified early-career candidates that match defined hiring profiles.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to refine candidate criteria and selection approaches.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to hiring managers on early-career talent market trends and campus strategy.
  • Lead planning and execution of campus events, networking sessions, and student engagement initiatives.
  • Promote Sun Technologies' culture, values, and mission to strengthen campus brand presence.
  • Ensure a seamless, high-quality candidate experience through clear communication and transparent processes.
  • Leverage data insights to shape campus strategy aligned with sustainability and affordability goals.
  • Ensure compliance with recruiting policies, university guidelines, and applicable regulations.
  • Manage full life cycle recruitment for regional and site-specific early-career and internship requisitions.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise and Sector UR&R teams to participate in university partnerships.
  • Maintain accurate candidate activity in the applicant tracking system to ensure data integrity.
  • Develop and analyze UR&R metrics to guide decision making.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that drive operating excellence.
  • The successful candidate will have exposure to college recruiting and the ability to consult with internal and external stakeholders, including students, university partners, hiring managers, and leadership.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED plus 4 years in Talent Acquisition Recruiting or University Relations, OR a Bachelor's Degree with 0 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Travel up to 25% required.
  • Based in Oklahoma City, OK or within a reasonable commuting distance.

Experience (Preferred)

  • Talent Acquisition Recruiting: 1 year (Preferred)
  • University Relations: 1 year (Preferred)

Preferred qualifications

  • Demonstrated ownership of full-cycle recruiting through offer acceptance
  • Proficiency in Workday and Eightfold
  • Previous TA experience in a corporate recruiting environment
  • TA experience within internships and early-career hiring
