Job Description
Talent Acquisition Recruiter based in Melbourne, FL (onsite), focuses on University Relations and campus recruiting for the Aeronautics sector, managing end-to-end UR&R activities with travel up to 25%.
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain strategic ties with target universities and student organizations aligned to business needs
- Establish long-term university partnerships across faculty, career services, and student groups
- Design and execute campus recruitment plans to build a sustainable early career pipeline in engineering and emerging technologies
- Maintain a proactive candidate nurturing program across academic cycles
- Screen, evaluate, and present qualified early career candidates aligned with defined hiring profiles
- Collaborate with hiring managers to refine candidate criteria and selection approaches
- Serve as a strategic advisor on early career talent markets and campus strategies
- Plan and run campus events, networking sessions, and student engagement initiatives
- Promote company culture, values, and mission to strengthen brand presence
- Ensure a smooth, high-quality candidate experience through clear communication and transparent processes
- Leverage data insights to shape campus strategy in line with sustainability and affordability goals
- Adhere to recruiting policies, university guidelines, and compliance requirements
- Manage full life cycle recruitment for regional and site-specific early career and intern requisitions
- Collaborate with Enterprise and Sector UR&R teams on university partnerships
- Maintain accurate candidate activity in the applicant tracking system to ensure data integrity
- Develop and analyze UR&R metrics to inform decisions
- Identify and implement process improvements driving operating excellence
- Demonstrate experience with college recruiting and the ability to consult with students, university partners, hiring managers, and leadership
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED with 4 years of Talent Acquisition Recruiting or University Relations experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 0 years of related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Travel up to 25% is required
- Based in Melbourne, FL or within a reasonable commuting distance
