Job Description
Talent Acquisition Specialist manages the full recruitment lifecycle across manufacturing, management, and administrative roles for a family-owned company in Northwest Indianapolis.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the end-to-end recruitment strategy
- Collaborate with department leaders to craft and refresh job descriptions
- Post vacancies on job boards, universities/colleges, and local community organizations
- Work with Marketing to boost recruitment messaging on social media and the company site
- Plan and attend career fairs and community events to attract qualified candidates
- Partner with Marketing to design recruitment materials
- Build partnerships with local high schools, vocational schools, colleges, universities, and nonprofits for sourcing
- Inform and engage potential applicants about the company and its culture
- Screen resumes and application materials
- Conduct phone screenings with qualified candidates
- Coordinate and participate in second interviews with top candidates and managers
- Extend verbal contingent offers to hourly candidates
- Conduct pre-employment screenings
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system

- 3+ years’ experience in recruiting or hiring

- Knowledge of MS Office software (Excel, Outlook, Word) and applicant tracking system
- Strong decision-making skills
Experience
- Full-cycle recruiting: 3+ years (required)
- Human resources: 1 year (preferred)
