Talent Acquisition Specialist
Job Description
Volt seeks a Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage full-cycle recruiting for manufacturing and related roles in San Diego on a contract basis.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary recruiting contact for hiring managers; continuously collaborate to understand recruiting needs and required skills
- Build and manage candidate pipelines using effective sourcing strategies; program manage recruitment campaigns as needed
- Lead end-to-end recruiting for client groups, including background checks and drug screens; recruit for manufacturing, engineering, and related roles
- Ensure the quality of candidates presented to hiring managers for open requisitions
- Partner with business leaders and HR team members to develop and maintain strong relationships
- Maintain compliance with local recruitment policies and processes
- Track candidate progress and minimize time to hire from resume to offer by driving the recruitment pipeline
- Understand and use Workday to manage candidate data and keep recruitment applications up to date by Hiring Managers
- Utilize all recruiting tools and resources (job boards, CRM, etc.) to deliver top quality candidates for current and future talent needs
- Ensure client satisfaction by communicating business needs throughout recruitment efforts
- Prioritize a positive candidate experience across all recruitment activities
- Provide recruiting status updates to Global Recruiting Manager and HR Managers, including performance versus targets and sourcing challenges
- Collaborate with other regions to share knowledge and lessons learned
- Provide backup recruiting services as needed
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with hiring managers and internal and external candidates
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 3 years of related HR experience
- 1-3 years of recruitment/talent acquisition experience; manufacturing recruiting experience required
- 1-3 years of passive sourcing experience using tools such as Indeed and LinkedIn
- Experience with an applicant tracking system (preferably Workday) and guiding candidates through the recruiting review and selection process

Schedule
- Location: Onsite at Volt's San Diego facility
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Pay
- Salary: USD 35 - 38 per hour
- Pay range is based on education, work experience, location, job duties, certifications, and other factors
