University Relations & Recruiting Talent Acquisition Business Partner

This virtual University Relations and Recruiting Talent Acquisition Business Partner role at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems focuses on full life-cycle campus recruiting, collaboration on UR&R talent strategies, and managing university-focused events. It is a remote position with travel up to 25 percent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end campus and internship recruitment for regional and site-specific requisitions.
• Partner with Enterprise and Sector UR&R to shape talent strategies and represent focus universities at events.
• Actively source top talent at focus universities through targeted searches.
• Build a strong candidate pool for regional and site events by leveraging campus outreach.
• Maintain ongoing engagement with top college and intern candidates from focus universities and keep ATS candidate activity up to date for data integrity.
• Analyze UR&R metrics to guide program decisions.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance operating effectiveness.
• Screen candidates from focus universities to assess fit and potential.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to craft compelling job descriptions.
• Ensure proper job classification and level alignment.
• Source and screen candidates for openings.
• Coordinate and conduct interviews.
• Advise hiring managers and coordinate with partners and support staff to extend offers.
• Lead negotiations as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, recruiting support, HR, or closely related fields; or a Master’s degree.
• Ability to travel regionally on occasion to support events and business needs.

Salary

Primary level salary range: $69,000.00 to $103,400.00 per year.
