Responsibilities
- Prepare timesheets for weekly payroll and assist the payroll processor in reviewing and finalizing payroll.
- Track, document, and enforce compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments, including safety and anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams.
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified candidates for open positions; work with managers to understand required skills and competencies.
- Conduct background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Implement and manage new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Administer HR programs related to compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes, investigations, performance management, morale, safety, and training and development.
- Respond to employment inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, escalating complex or sensitive issues as needed.
- Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; review and update policies to align with legal and industry standards.
- Stay updated on HR trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in technology.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of HR experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Analytical and problem solving capabilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.

- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn HRIS and talent management systems.

Supervisory Responsibilities
