Job Description
Bilingual HR Generalist providing on-site support at Pleasant Prairie, WI and Yorkville, IL locations, overseeing recruiting, onboarding, policy administration, benefits, workers’ compensation, training, performance management, and leave coordination.
Responsibilities
- Deliver HR support across the Pleasant Prairie, WI and Yorkville, IL sites.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for open positions.
- Lead new hire orientations and oversee the full onboarding process.
- Administer policies and procedures.
- Oversee employee benefits programs.
- Administer workers' compensation processes.
- Coordinate and deliver training initiatives.
- Oversee performance management activities.
- Coordinate leaves of absence.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues to develop and implement initiatives that support departmental and organizational goals.
- Maintain personnel records in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Update the organizational chart and project list.
- Support HR programs and procedures for all employees.
- Respond to employee inquiries and requests for assistance on a variety of matters.
- Maintain knowledge of HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in talent management and employment law.
- Handle special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Proficiency in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar HR role.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective time management with a track record of meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
