Job Description

The Bilingual HR Business Partner role focuses on planning, directing, and overseeing HR and employee relations across plant, store, and site facilities in Roberts, WI.

Responsibilities

  • Align HR strategies with corporate policy, designing guidelines and procedures to meet current and future business needs.
  • Oversee core HR services at assigned sites to ensure qualified personnel are recruited, developed, and motivated to achieve objectives.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to manage end-to-end recruitment, including need assessment, org design review, job ads, interviews, offers, and ensuring hiring process compliance; interview and assist in selecting salaried personnel for the location.
  • Support line management in implementing HR policies at plant level, including wage management per corporate compensation processes, local benefits contact, investigations, leadership coaching, and safety-related assistance.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws; advise Business Partners and promote consistent interpretation of labor regulations across the business.
  • Foster a highly engaged and productive work environment through coaching; perform positive employee relations assessments to deter collective bargaining.
  • Contribute to articulating the organization’s values and culture; propose HR activities that reinforce the culture.
  • Collaborate with site managers to identify HR issues and provide leadership in resolving them.
  • Manage organizational design and effectiveness, performance management, and competency development initiatives for the site.
  • Lead several HR continuous improvement efforts at the site.
  • Maintain records and generate statistical reports on hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation

  • Annual salary: USD 75,000 - 85,000

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of all HR areas including employment law and labor laws.
  • Experience creating collaborative, positive, and effective employee relations.
  • Proven track record of supporting change programs and partnering with business managers.
  • Ability to identify and resolve organizational and individual problems with innovative approaches.
  • Ability to provide HR expertise at all levels of the business.
  • Knowledge of Kronos timekeeping or similar systems; involvement in a system launch or upgrade is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate succinctly and compellingly with all levels of the organization, both orally and in writing.
  • In-depth knowledge of a wide variety of HR techniques and best practices gained through experience and education.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
