Carrier Field Recruiter

RAS Logistics LLC is hiring a Carrier Field Recruiter in Guilderland, NY (onsite) to source, screen, and onboard qualified trucking carriers for its logistics network.

Responsibilities

• Source and recruit qualified owner-operators, small fleets, and trucking companies
• Build and maintain a pipeline of reliable carriers
• Perform initial carrier qualification and screening
• Collect and verify onboarding documentation, including:
  • Certificate of Insurance (COI)
  • W-9
  • MC Authority
  • DOT Number
  • Operating Authority
  • Safety Rating (FMCSA)
• Verify insurance requirements and coverage limits
• Ensure carriers meet required compliance standards and company requirements
• Maintain ongoing communication throughout the onboarding process
• Coordinate with operations teams to support carrier onboarding needs
• Track recruiting progress and monitor onboarding status

Requirements

• Previous carrier recruiting
• Experience with carrier onboarding processes
• Knowledge of insurance requirements (COI)
• Working understanding of FMCSA compliance
• Ability to verify authority information
• Existing network of carriers is preferred
• Ability to work independently in a field recruiting role
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, results-driven approach
• Experience in field recruiting
• Travel availability: 50% to 75%
• Role location: onsite in Guilderland, NY

Preferred Experience

• Experience recruiting specific carrier types: Cargo Van, Flatbed, Box truck
• Knowledge of load boards
• ATS experience
• Track record of consistently onboarding qualified carriers
• Ability to maintain a reliable and compliant carrier pool
• Strength in communication and follow-through
• Experience building long-term carrier relationships

Compensation

• USD 85,000 - 92,000 per year
