Contract Recruiter

Caravel Autism Health is seeking a Contract Recruiter to join the team onsite in Appleton, Wisconsin. In this contract role, you will source, screen, and present candidates while collaborating closely with hiring managers and maintaining candidate records throughout the process. The position offers an hourly rate of $26-$29 and is based onsite, providing a hands-on opportunity to influence talent acquisition in our organization.

Responsibilities

• Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and networking
• Conduct initial candidate screenings and phone interviews
• Evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and overall fit for open roles
• Present qualified candidates to hiring managers for interview consideration
• Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
• Track recruiting activity and maintain accurate candidate records
• Partner with hiring leaders to understand staffing needs and priorities

Requirements

• Previous recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple openings and priorities simultaneously
• Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms is a plus
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment
• High-volume hourly recruiting a must
