Director of Talent Acquisition
Job Description
The Bulfinch Group is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to guide recruiting strategy and lead the Talent Acquisition team in building a strong, diverse pipeline of Financial Representative candidates across the Greater Boston area. This hybrid role is based in Needham Heights, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Talent Acquisition team, including an Associate Recruiter and Talent Acquisition Coordinator.
- Build and execute a comprehensive recruiting strategy aligned with firm goals.
- Elevate the candidate experience through consistent communication, process improvements, and best practices.
- Identify and attract Financial Representative candidates through personal networking and relationship-building.
- Prospect through personal sources such as existing Bulfinch FRs and staff.
- Prospect through personal sources such as centers of influence and nominators.
- Prospect through personal sources such as professional and personal networks.
- Prospect through personal sources such as community involvement and observation.
- Prospect through personal sources such as networking groups.
- Prospect through personal sources such as seminar recruiting.
- Source candidates through impersonal channels, including approved social media platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.).
- Source candidates through impersonal channels, including college career centers and job fairs.
- Source candidates through impersonal channels, including advertising and direct mail campaigns.
- Source candidates through impersonal channels, including licensed producer lists (Discovery Database, etc.).
- Conduct initial screenings and primary interviews.
- Guide candidates through the full recruiting and selection lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate data within Smart Recruiting.
- Participate in weekly recruiting meetings, providing updates, insights, and recommendations.
- Attend recruiting and training conferences or teleconferences and implement new strategies and ideas.
Requirements

- Has 5–10+ years of recruitment experience, ideally with leadership responsibilities.

- Holds a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Compensation
- Base salary range: $80,000-150,000+ per year.
