Driver Recruiter

Driver Recruiter role at TMC Transportation in Columbia, SC.

Responsibilities

• Proactively reach out to qualified candidates
• Screen applications and conduct telephone interviews to capture work history, education, training, and skills, while sharing details about the organization and role
• Support reference checks and background verifications for applicants
• Share information about company facilities and available driver opportunities with candidates
• Build and maintain positive relationships with candidates
• Coordinate travel and lodging for out-of-town applicants

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; preference for Transportation or Human Resources fields
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and manage stress
• Strong verbal communication skills to engage candidates at all levels
• Excellent interpersonal abilities with active listening
• Courteous yet assertive telephone demeanor
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Prior experience in driver recruiting and familiarity with Tenstreet ATS is a plus
