Job Description

Oregon Eye Consultants, LLC seeks an Experienced Administrative/Human Resources Assistant to support daily operations, onboarding, compliance, and personnel records at the Springfield, Oregon onsite office. This role combines administrative duties with HR responsibilities in a medical office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily clerical tasks including scheduling appointments, handling correspondence, preparing reports and presentations, shaping meeting agendas, and taking and creating meeting minutes.
  • Maintain office calendars and facilities, schedule meetings, track staff uniform inventory, and order department supplies in coordination with the accounting department.
  • Assist with posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating background checks.
  • Prepare new hire packets, guide new employees through orientation paperwork, and process I-9 verifications.
  • Maintain accurate, highly confidential physical and digital files including personnel, management, and executive records and databases.

  • Experience: 1-3 years of proven experience in administrative or human resources support
  • Tech skills: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Soft skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication and a commitment to maintaining absolute confidentiality
  • Education: High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Working conditions: Medical Business Office environment; some travel by automobile
