Human Resources Coordinator
Job Description
E2 Optics is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support day-to-day HR operations in Atlanta, GA. This onsite role helps keep hiring and employee lifecycle processes running smoothly, while also supporting compliance, employee relations, and internal communication between staff and management.
What You’ll Do
- Follow safe work practices and adhere to company and client worksite safety policies and procedures.
- Support and promote E2 Optics’ Core Values to help sustain a family-centric culture.
- Assist with employee onboarding, including processing new hire paperwork and coordinating orientation sessions.
- Serve as backup for administering New Hire Orientation.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidential handling of sensitive information.
- Help support compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Assist the HR Generalist with performance management processes and employee relations matters.
- Prepare HR-related reports and documentation as needed.
- Facilitate communication between employees and management regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives that support a positive workplace culture.
- Travel as required by E2 Optics.
What You Bring
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years of admin support experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, influencing, and collaborative skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Practical understanding and application of general HR policies and procedures.
- Working knowledge of employment and labor laws.
- Tactful, professional demeanor with the ability to interact effectively with managers, employees, and internal and external partners.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, organization, and quick response times.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with changing priorities.
- Capacity to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
- Effective oral and written communication skills required for the role.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work as an effective team player with strong work ethics and strategic planning skills.
- Proficiency using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Standard environment includes an indoors business office and a construction environment.
- Noise level is usually moderate.
- Requires sitting, use of hands and arms, and verbal communication, with occasional physical movement such as stooping or kneeling.
- Frequently required to stand and walk.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Must regularly carry and climb ladders up to 20 feet.
- May need to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required.
- May be required to work in tight and confined spaces.
