Experienced Carrier Recruiter

RAS Logistics is hiring an Experienced Carrier Recruiter to support its trucking network from Boston, MA (onsite). This role centers on building a dependable carrier pipeline while ensuring smooth, compliant onboarding. Responsibilities

• Source and recruit owner-operators, small fleets, and trucking companies
• Build and maintain a pipeline of reliable carriers
• Conduct initial carrier qualification and screening
• Collect and verify onboarding documentation, including:
  • Certificate of Insurance (COI)
  • W-9
  • MC Authority
  • DOT Number
  • Operating Authority
  • Safety Rating (FMCSA)
• Verify insurance requirements and coverage limits
• Ensure carriers meet compliance standards and company requirements
• Maintain consistent communication during the onboarding process
• Coordinate recruiting activity with operations teams
• Track recruiting progress and monitor onboarding status

Requirements

• Previous carrier recruiting experience
• Experience with the carrier onboarding process
• Knowledge of insurance requirements (COI)
• Understanding of FMCSA compliance
• Ability to perform authority verification
• Existing network of carriers preferred
• Ability to work independently
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated and results-driven
• Field recruiting experience
• Open to travel: 50% - 75%

Preferred experience

• Experience recruiting Cargo Van carrier, Flatbed carriers, and Box truck
• Knowledge of load boards
• ATS experience
• Consistent onboarding of qualified carriers
• Experience maintaining a reliable and compliant carrier pool
• Demonstrated strong communication and follow-through
• Experience building long-term carrier relationships
