Experienced Carrier Recruiter

RAS Logistics is hiring an Experienced Carrier Recruiter to source, qualify, and onboard trucking carriers for its logistics network in South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Source and recruit qualified owner-operators, small fleets, and trucking companies
• Build and maintain a reliable carrier pipeline
• Perform initial carrier qualification and screening
• Collect and verify onboarding documentation including:
  • Certificate of Insurance (COI)
  • W-9
  • MC Authority
  • DOT Number
  • Operating Authority
  • Safety Rating (FMCSA)
• Verify insurance requirements and coverage limits
• Ensure carriers meet compliance standards and company requirements
• Maintain carrier communication throughout the onboarding process
• Coordinate onboarding steps with operations teams
• Track recruiting progress and onboarding status

Requirements

• Previous carrier recruiting
• Experience with carrier onboarding process
• Knowledge of insurance requirements, including COI
• Understanding of FMCSA compliance
• Authority verification experience
• Existing network of carriers is preferred
• Ability to work independently
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated and results-driven
• Field recruiting experience
• Open to travel 50%–75%

Preferred Experience

• Experience recruiting Cargo Van carriers, Flatbed carriers, and Box truck
• Knowledge of load boards
• ATS experience
• Consistent onboarding of qualified carriers
• Built and maintained a reliable and compliant carrier pool
• Strong communication and follow-through
• Experience building long-term carrier relationships

Location: South Carolina (onsite). Work location: On the road.

Compensation: USD 95,000 - 100,000 per year.
