Field Recruiter

The Field Recruiter at Swift Transportation is the first and primary point of contact for driving academies and schools in the assigned region. This role represents Swift in the field, builds and maintains relationships with school partners, and supports student interviews through initial screening and follow-up coordination. The position is onsite in Denver, CO and dedicates 100% of time to travel within the territory, working independently with general direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent Swift Transportation and its values with independent commercial driving schools across the assigned geographic region.
• Build constructive, cooperative relationships with school owners, instructors, and leaders.
• Strengthen and maintain ongoing relationships with driving schools and academies.
• Deliver presentations and present Swift positively during formal and informal events.
• Conduct initial on-site interviews with students to determine fit and likelihood of success at Swift.
• Share appropriate contact information with the Driver Recruiter for additional follow-up and/or processing.
• Keep all locations supplied with current Swift information and ensure materials are placed in highly visible areas.
• Support adherence to team-defined metrics by assigned team members.
• Provide students with current information on benefits of working at Swift.
• Act and communicate in a way that supports a positive employer brand for Swift.
• Proactively assist others in achieving organizational objectives.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in recruiting and/or outside sales.
• Knowledge of the transportation industry is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Associate’s degree in business, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Compensation

• Pay range: USD 53,500 to 70,000 per year
