Job Description

Trustpair is scaling its U.S. business and needs an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to take ownership of hiring end to end across the United States. This freelance role is based in the New York metro area with in-office presence and is designed for someone who can move full-cycle processes forward while partnering closely with hiring managers and People team stakeholders.

You will begin part-time in January 2027, working 2–3 days per week, with an hourly-equivalent rate of $600–$800 per day. The focus is on recruiting for commercial and customer-facing needs in B2B SaaS and technology, delivering a strong candidate experience, and maintaining clear, measurable visibility into pipeline progress.

What you’ll do

  • Own U.S. recruitment from kickoff to close, leading the full process including sourcing, screening, interviews, feedback, offer acceptance, and handover to People Operations.
  • Partner with hiring managers to translate business needs into job descriptions, success criteria, scorecards, and interview plans.
  • Align expectations early, share relevant market insight, and support timely, well-informed hiring decisions.
  • Build targeted candidate pipelines using a mix of direct sourcing, personalized outreach, referrals, and application screening.
  • Run structured assessments during initial interviews, evaluating relevant experience, results, motivation, and role alignment.
  • Provide concise, evidence-based recommendations and help calibrate interviewers’ evaluations.
  • Coordinate a strong candidate experience by setting expectations, managing scheduling across time zones, collecting feedback, and communicating decisions and next steps promptly.
  • Support offer and closing by establishing compensation expectations early and collaborating on offers within approved budgets.
  • Address candidate questions and maintain engagement through the handover before their start date.
  • Keep hiring visible and measurable by maintaining accurate ATS records and sharing regular updates on pipeline progress, conversion, sourcing effectiveness, and hiring risks with recommended next steps.
  • Improve recruiting approach by sharing U.S. talent-market insights, strengthening local employer presence, and suggesting practical process improvements.
  • Use AI to accelerate research and administration while applying your judgment to candidate assessments.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of talent acquisition experience, including independently managing full-cycle recruitment for U.S.-based roles.
  • Experience recruiting commercial and customer-facing roles in B2B SaaS or technology environments, with a demonstrated record of successful hires.
  • Strong knowledge of the U.S. talent market, including New York, and the ability to advise hiring managers on candidate availability and compensation expectations.
  • Proven ability to identify and engage passive candidates through targeted sourcing and tailored outreach.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including clarifying expectations, providing constructive feedback, and keeping hiring decisions moving.
  • A structured, proactive approach to managing concurrent searches, shifting priorities, and maintaining accurate recruitment records.
  • Confidence using ATS platforms, sourcing tools, and recruiting data to manage pipelines and improve outcomes.
  • Fluent English with clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to collaborate across U.S. and European time zones.
  • Based in the New York metro area and available for the agreed local collaboration and assignment schedule.
