Job Description
An HR Partner on Amazon's PXT team focuses on employee experience, engagement, leadership development, and HR operational excellence. This onsite role in Bad Axe, Michigan supports site operations, coaches leaders, tracks HR data, and drives engagement initiatives.
Compensation and Location
Compensation: USD 51,300 - 89,800 per year
Location: Bad Axe, Michigan (onsite)
Responsibilities
- Contribute to a positive employee experience by delivering core programs, upholding workplace standards, and partnering with PXT and Operations to foster a culture where employees feel valued and supported.
- Execute standard HR work with consistent quality and timely delivery, meet SLAs, and maintain accurate records of HR processes and employee interactions.
- Provide frontline employee support by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and escalating matters as needed.
- Manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Assist in running and monitoring feedback channels such as roundtables, floor walks, and engagement activities.
- Support issue tracking and follow-up, collaborating with senior PXT colleagues to drive resolutions and improvements in the employee experience.
- Coach frontline leaders on behaviors that influence engagement and retention.
- Reinforce expectations and guide leaders in selecting and using available tools to enhance team communication, recognition, and performance conversations.
- Assist with site level engagement, communication, and culture-building initiatives.
- Coordinate logistics, gather feedback, and monitor effectiveness.
- Learn to track and summarize PXT related data such as attrition and attendance trends, hiring data, and employee sentiment.
- Help prepare insights for site reviews or team discussions.
- Promote the use of self-service tools to resolve routine employee and manager questions.
- Identify recurring gaps and escalate opportunities to improve tool usability or adoption.
Requirements
- Experience handling confidential information.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience communicating effectively with diverse audiences, explaining processes, addressing concerns, and providing technical guidance.

A Day in the Life
- A typical day balances standard HR tasks with responsive employee support. You maintain a steady presence on the operations floor, engaging hourly employees and partnering with leaders to address concerns and drive engagement initiatives. Guided by senior team members, you execute core HR processes while ensuring quality service. Using data tools and HR technologies, you track metrics and identify trends.
About the Team
- In addition to site level HRP work, this role provides regional coverage to support multiple locations.
- Travel up to 50 percent of the time, roughly every other week, to support 5 to 10 sites, which includes air travel and overnight stays.
- When not traveling, you will work from your home site.
