Human Resource Coordinator
Job Description
The Human Resource Coordinator at Graham Healthcare Group supports HR processes and provides administrative assistance to HR leadership. This position is based in the Mechanicsburg, PA office with hybrid work available after 90 days.
Role Summary
The coordinator will facilitate core human resources activities, including record keeping, onboarding support, education requirement tracking, and database management. The role also includes coordination of employee renewals and ongoing compliance-related documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a cross-trained customer service point by responding to employee requests and questions
- Greet guests and open the secured door for employees and visitors
- Maintain employee files and support ongoing document organization
- Perform clerical support such as making photocopies, faxing documents, and other administrative tasks
- Conduct audits of files and recommend corrective action plans
- Process background check screening in line with accrediting bodies and federal and state guidelines
- Enter and update renewable requirement information into HCHB and proactively obtain requirements from staff to ensure compliance
- Notify the leadership team when renewal requirements are due, including performance evaluations, TB tests, driver’s license, auto insurance, and professional license items
- Manage the employee badge system, including issuing badges and removing access as needed
- Assist with new-hire orientation and coordinate new employee paperwork, including I-9 verification
- Maintain and update the online training database
- Process address changes and update HCHB
- Process professional license applications for employees requiring dual licensure
- Process personnel change forms, prepare offer letters, and maintain the applicant tracking system
- Source candidates for current openings and future candidate pools using social media and other sourcing strategies
- Support Employee Relations matters
- Manage employee self-service (payroll) registrations and assist with troubleshooting
- Handle business card ordering and coordinate equipment return
- Update and maintain the company photo roster
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree; Bachelor’s preferred
- Cross-trained in multiple functions within the Human Resources department
- Working knowledge of HR administration principles and practices preferred
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to manage concurrent demands and multitask
- Detail orientation
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills for both individual and group settings
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work independently and self-direct on a variety of projects
- Strong attention to detail while maintaining confidentiality of business information
- Good judgment and decision-making skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to spend approximately 20% of the workday driving to and from patient locations, due to the field-based nature of this home health position

Compensation
Hourly pay range: USD 17 to 25.
Work Location and Schedule
Mechanicsburg, PA (hybrid). Hybrid work is available after 90 days.
