Job Description
Healthcare Linen Services Group offers a comprehensive benefits package in a casual, onsite role based in Rolla, MO. The Human Resources Generalist will oversee daily HR operations, including recruiting, onboarding, training, payroll, benefits administration, FMLA, policy enforcement, and general office administration, collaborating with managers to support performance, safety, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and facilitating the hiring process for open positions.
- Collaborate with department managers to determine required skills, competencies, and staffing timelines.
- Perform routine HR tasks such as compensation, benefits administration, leaves of absence, disciplinary matters, investigations, terminations and exit interviews, recognitions, and training and development.
- Improve job satisfaction by promptly resolving issues and organizing team-building activities.
- Organize quarterly and annual performance reviews.
- Promote and enforce safety procedures, policies, and rules across the organization.
- Process workers compensation claims with the insurance carrier and provide status updates to supervisors and the Director of Safety, including follow-up until resolution.
- Maintain employee Hep B vaccination records and coordinate follow-up appointments.
- Maintain a training matrix to track safety training for all employees.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; review policies to maintain compliance.
- Draft, update, and maintain HR forms, files, and the HRIS system.
- Participate in HR staff meetings and attend required meetings, seminars, and trainings.
- Partner with the HR Manager and General Manager to address employee complaints and performance issues.
- Ensure proper filing and maintenance of personnel files and I-9 compliance.
- Answer incoming calls, greet visitors, and manage the front desk.
- Handle miscellaneous office duties as assigned.
- Order office and production supplies as needed.
- Perform other duties as directed by management.

- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
