Job Description

Balanced Body, the world’s largest designer and manufacturer of Pilates equipment with a presence in more than 100 countries, invites an onsite HR Generalist to join our Sacramento, CA team. This full-time role offers a competitive annual salary of USD 75,000 to 90,000 and the opportunity to support a global workforce across multiple regions. You will help shape employee relations, uphold compliance, and manage the full HR lifecycle in a dynamic, cross-border environment. Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations — serve as the primary point of contact for employees and leaders on inquiries, resolve conflicts, and conduct investigations, delivering tangible impact
  • Performance Management — facilitate the performance evaluation cycle, coach leaders on evaluations, and support execution
  • Training & Development — identify learning needs, design and deliver programs, and audit certifications, including ETP training plans and safety training with the EHS officer
  • Recruiting, Hiring & Onboarding — keep job descriptions current, review resumes, coordinate interviews, track candidates in the applicant system, and support onboarding
  • Offboarding — guide leaders through compliant terminations and participate in exit interviews
  • Global Workforce Analytics — generate and present KPIs such as turnover and hiring metrics; analyze workforce data across the global footprint to inform HR strategy
  • File Maintenance — maintain and audit physical and electronic employment files
  • Compliance — monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; update policies as regulations shift
  • Verifications & Claims — respond to employment verifications and EDD claims
  • Compensation & Benefits — partner on annual compensation analysis and benefits administration
  • Culture & Celebration — contribute to planning team events, including monthly appreciation activities, summer picnic, and the holiday party
  • Any additional duties as needed to support the HR team and business priorities

Requirements

  • 8+ years of HR experience, including at least 4 years focused specifically on employee relations
  • 3+ years in progressive, international/global HR practice with hands-on cross-border experience
  • Manufacturing environment experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred
  • Proven track record designing and delivering training programs, with comfort presenting to groups
  • Solid understanding of US labor law (FLSA, OSHA, FMLA); multi-state experience (CA, TN, CO, OR) preferred
  • International HR compliance experience is preferred
  • Experience managing an HRIS
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Self-directed, fast-paced, and able to prioritize under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Work Schedule
