Human Resources Analyst
Job Description
Onsite in Santa Rosa, CA, this Human Resources Analyst role focuses on benefits, recruitment and selection, leave administration, workers’ compensation, and training, with an hourly salary range of USD 4,260 to 5,191.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment, examination and selection activities in partnership with the hiring manager.
- Develop recruitment and marketing strategies.
- Evaluate job duties and draft or review postings.
- Screen applications for minimum qualifications.
- Design and administer a variety of examinations.
- Analyze recruitment and selection metrics and statistics.
- Assess starting pay rates and provide recommendations.
- Oversee the end-to-end hiring process.
- Assist in managing employee and retiree benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, flexible spending accounts, retirement, and COBRA).
- Support tracking, reporting and reconciliation of benefits.
- Conduct surveys as needed.
- Provide guidance on MOUs, personnel rules and regulations, and federal and state employment laws to employees and retirees.
- Assist in developing, maintaining and administering personnel practices, policies and procedures.
- Maintain the HRIS system.
- Perform related payroll procedures.
- Provide information to employees, retirees and managers on benefits and leave of absence policies.
- Generate reports on accrual usage, leaves, benefits and time balances for management.
- Assist in coordinating the workers’ compensation program.
- Work closely with a third-party administrator to manage caseload.
- Review and update procedures.
- Analyze restrictions and assist in determining modified duty assignments.
- Assist in managing ADA cases and issues.
- Coordinate ergonomic reviews and track workplace accommodations.
- Support safety programs and training.
- Prepare narrative and statistical reports and correspondence.
- Act as a member or coordinator on various committees.
- Attend meetings, conferences, workshops and staff development events.
- Assist in the development and delivery of the Court’s training programs.
- Conduct technical HR training on an individual or group basis on human resources issues.
- Coordinate staff training and development activities.
- Provide support to the meet and confer process.
- Support activities necessary in the development of management positions and language for memoranda of understanding and other official documents, participate in strategy development and conference sessions with employee representatives.
- Coordinate implementation of new agreements by conducting briefing sessions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
