Human Resources Assistant
Job Description
Part-time, onsite HR support role based in Arlington, MA, delivering day-to-day administrative assistance and coordination with the HR team.
Responsibilities
- Assist onboarding and offboarding tasks, including coordinating headshots and bios, initiating background checks, and supporting scheduling across the administrative team.
- Coordinate performance management activities, including launching processes, tracking progress, and collecting peer feedback.
- Support annual compliance training tracking and organization.
- Maintain and update employee records with data entry and document filing.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3+ years of administrative or HR support experience.
- Experience with Paylocity or a similar HRIS system.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain follow-through.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Professional, dependable, and able to handle confidential information.
- Comfortable working within established processes and systems.
- Associate’s degree or higher.

Description
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support the day-to-day administrative and operational needs of the HR team. This role works closely with the Senior Human Resources Manager and requires a collaborative, team-oriented approach in a structured, task-driven environment. The position is part-time and onsite, offering 20 hours per week based in Arlington, MA.
