Job Description
Rosenberger North America seeks a detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support daily HR operations and benefits administration from its Akron, PA site.
Responsibilities
- Provide HR related customer service by addressing employee inquiries about benefits, time off, and policies and procedures.
- Handle general clerical tasks including correspondence, reports, employee paperwork, data entry, travel bookings, front desk interactions, and filing.
- Support staff recruitment and selection: post openings, conduct phone screens, schedule interviews, issue rejection notices or offer letters, and coordinate pre-employment paperwork.
- Verify I-9 documentation via E-Verify and maintain I-9, EEO, and VETS records in a compliant manner.
- Assist with administration of corporate health insurance and benefits programs.
- Update and maintain logs for applicant/new hire, terminations, workers' compensation, recruiting, and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain and order Labor Law Posters for all office locations as needed.
- Support new hire onboarding by explaining forms, answering questions, providing an employee handbook overview, collecting employment documents, and assisting with benefits enrollment.
- Assist with offboarding procedures.
- Support workers' compensation claims by filing reports with insurers, maintaining incident information, and monitoring progress.
- Respond promptly to information requests from governmental agencies, such as Unemployment Compensation.
- Coordinate employee meetings and events via Microsoft Outlook, HRIS communications, and bulletin board updates.
- Monitor and procure inventory for job fairs, new hire kits, and service award items as directed by senior HR staff.
- Maintain regular, predictable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of related HR experience
- Microsoft Office experience, 2 years
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
