Human Resources Director

Calvado Care is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to support a newly acquired home in the Buffalo area. This onsite role is centered on payroll operations and HR compliance, helping the facility run smoothly while maintaining a strong reputation with federal and state requirements.

Working in East Aurora, NY, you will partner with the management team to implement company-wide policies and procedures, oversee accurate recordkeeping, and ensure ongoing CHRC compliance. The position also includes building recruitment and retention strategies to help the facility attract and keep top talent.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage weekly payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable federal and state regulations
• Develop and implement recruitment and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent
• Ensure the facility remains compliant with federal and state laws to support Calvado Care’s reputation
• Collaborate with the management team to implement company-wide policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate records and reports in line with regulatory requirements
• Maintain CHRC compliance

Qualifications

• Long-term healthcare experience required
• Strong knowledge of human resources law and compliance
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: USD 60,000 - 70,000 per year
