Job Description

Rhino Tool House, based in Concord, North Carolina, is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to manage day-to-day HR operations across the organization. The role emphasizes employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, onboarding, and performance management, with ADP Workforce Now experience required to support payroll, reporting, and policy implementation.

Job Details

Location: Concord, NC (onsite)

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year

Experience: Minimum 2 years

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main resource for staff inquiries about HR policies, procedures, and benefits
  • Help resolve employee concerns and workplace issues with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Support initiatives aimed at boosting engagement, retention, and recognition
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires
  • Maintain personnel files and HR records in ADP Workforce Now
  • Ensure onboarding paperwork and compliance documents are completed
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries
  • Coordinate with payroll to maintain accurate employee data, timekeeping records, and ADP system updates
  • Support leave administration including FMLA, ADA, workers' compensation, and other leaves
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Keep HR records, reports, and employee data accurate within HRIS systems
  • Generate reports and assist with audits using ADP Workforce Now
  • Aid in policy development, implementation, and handbook updates
  • Support managers with performance reviews and development planning
  • Coordinate training and professional development programs
  • Track required certifications, trainings, and compliance obligations

Requirements

  • Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel
