Human Resources Generalist
Job Description
An on-site Human Resources Generalist role located in Fairmont, West Virginia, with a focus on overseeing daily HR operations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and document compliance with mandatory and elective training, continuing education, and work assessments, including safety, anti-harassment, licensure, and professional exams.
- Recruit and coordinate the hiring process for qualified applicants, working with management to define required skills and competencies.
- Implement and manage new hire orientation to ensure smooth onboarding.
- Administer core HR programs related to compensation, benefits, and leave; handle disciplinary matters; support investigations; assist in performance and talent management, productivity and morale initiatives, health and safety efforts, and training and development activities.
- Field employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, directing complex or sensitive issues to appropriate staff.
- Assist in conducting employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations as needed.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; review policies to ensure ongoing adherence and alignment with best practices.
- Stay current on HR trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies in talent management and employment law.
- Contribute to additional duties as assigned to support organizational growth and change.

- Ability to learn and operate the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems quickly.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to all Stone Tower locations as business needs require.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Required).
- Human resources experience: 1 year (Preferred).

- Salary: USD 43,680 per year
