Job Description

Onsite Human Resources Generalist role in Keene, NH with a salary range of USD 60,000 - 80,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic HR partner to plant leadership, advising on employee relations, workforce planning, and team engagement.
  • Serve as a reliable, unbiased resource for employees on policies, benefits, and workplace concerns.
  • Investigate and help resolve workplace concerns and disputes through effective problem solving and clear communication.
  • Coordinate benefits enrollment, changes, and employee communications.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives and support a positive culture by organizing programs, collecting feedback, and partnering with leadership to boost morale and retention.
  • Collaborate with the Safety team to advance safety initiatives, ensuring alignment with policies and fostering a culture of compliance.
  • Coordinate with payroll to ensure timely and accurate processing of HR changes.
  • Interpret and enforce policies, procedures, and applicable employment laws.
  • Maintain compliance of HR practices and records with federal, state, and local laws including FMLA, ADA, and FLSA.
  • Support internal investigations and document related employee relations matters.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Document employee relations issues, disciplinary actions, investigations, and HR decisions promptly and in accordance with policy and legal standards.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to fulfill staffing requirements.
  • Contribute to the implementation and improvement of HR processes and systems.
  • Assist on HR projects and initiatives as needed, collaborating with other HR generalists and team members.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of benefits administration, HR compliance, and employee relations best practices.
  • Proven ability to build trust and effectively partner with leadership.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
  • SHRM-CP or an equivalent certification is a plus.
