Job Description
Onsite Human Resources Generalist role in Keene, NH with a salary range of USD 60,000 - 80,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic HR partner to plant leadership, advising on employee relations, workforce planning, and team engagement.
- Serve as a reliable, unbiased resource for employees on policies, benefits, and workplace concerns.
- Investigate and help resolve workplace concerns and disputes through effective problem solving and clear communication.
- Coordinate benefits enrollment, changes, and employee communications.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and support a positive culture by organizing programs, collecting feedback, and partnering with leadership to boost morale and retention.
- Collaborate with the Safety team to advance safety initiatives, ensuring alignment with policies and fostering a culture of compliance.
- Coordinate with payroll to ensure timely and accurate processing of HR changes.
- Interpret and enforce policies, procedures, and applicable employment laws.
- Maintain compliance of HR practices and records with federal, state, and local laws including FMLA, ADA, and FLSA.
- Support internal investigations and document related employee relations matters.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Document employee relations issues, disciplinary actions, investigations, and HR decisions promptly and in accordance with policy and legal standards.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to fulfill staffing requirements.
- Contribute to the implementation and improvement of HR processes and systems.
- Assist on HR projects and initiatives as needed, collaborating with other HR generalists and team members.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of benefits administration, HR compliance, and employee relations best practices.
- Proven ability to build trust and effectively partner with leadership.
- Experience with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
- SHRM-CP or an equivalent certification is a plus.
